University of the Basque Country
The University of the Basque Country (EHU; UPV; UPV/EHU) is the public university of the Basque Country. It has campuses over the three provinces of the autonomous community: Biscay Campus (in Leioa, Bilbao, Portugalete and Barakaldo), Gipuzkoa Campus (in San Sebastián and Eibar), and Álava Campus in Vitoria-Gasteiz. It is the main research institution in the Basque Country, carrying out 90% of the basic research made in that territory and taking advantage of the good industrial environment that the region constitutes.

Also referred to as "simultaneous media use", or "multicommunicating", this behavior has emerged as increasingly common, especially among younger media users. The shift toward more frequent multitasking occurred basically at the turn of the century (around year 2000) and media multitasking still continues to gain popularity among young people and especially students.
