Global warming

Global warming and climate change are terms for the observed century-scale rise in the average temperature of the Earth's climate system and its related effects. Multiple lines of scientific evidence show that the climate system is warming. Many of the observed changes since the 1950s are unprecedented in the instrumental temperature record which extends back to the mid 19th century, and in paleoclimate proxy records over a thousand years.

Bill McGuire (volcanologist)

William J. "Bill" McGuire (born 1954) is Emeritus Professor of Geophysical & Climate Hazards at University College London and is one of Britain's leading volcanologists. His main interests include volcano instability and lateral collapse, the nature and impact of global geophysical events and the effect of climate change on geological hazards.

Valenciano River

The Valenciano River is a river in eastern Puerto Rico. It flows in a northwestern direction from its source, and the only settlement which it flows through is the city of Juncos. After Juncos, the river reaches a confluence on the left bank of the Río Gurabo, which is itself a tributary of the Río Grande de Loíza which flows north into the Atlantic Ocean.
